It was purely a coincidence: One you cannot dream up, even if you have passed the building every day on your way to work or school. On this particular morning, though — a rainy April 3rd in Rome — an old man opened his window just as I passed by the building. He leaned out as far as he both could and dared, and looked down on the Pegasus mural below him.
“Bongiorno”, he said, and lingered for a second or two, as if he wanted to give the mural some time to respond. (The text continues below the picture.)

I don’t know anything about this particular man, and not about the mural either. I just happened to pass by on a rainy morning when he opened his window and greeted the Pegasus. Maybe the mural just had appeared one day, as if it had come from the sky and landed on the wall of this apartment building. Maybe he took it as a sign, and decided on greeting the mural — and the reason it had landed on his wall.
This is one of the many stories I aim to tell on this blog. The unique kind, the ones you can’t find anywhere else. Just as if you one morning had awoken to find a Pegasus had landed on your wall — here’s a blog full of what I hope could spark both the imagination, social engagement and recognition.
